Karl,  When you use A/I what formula do you use when you apply to a structure.  I think mine is too dark

Hi Mike:

I make three mixes of A&I in 16 oz. of 70% rubbing alcohol. 1 Tsp, 2 Tsp and 3 Tsp. I used the 2 Tsp. mix on the supply shed. Hope this helps.

Karl,  Forgot to thank you!
When would you use formula # 1?
Formula # 2 is for most weathering & # 3 is for dark weathering?
Use # 1 when the final color is white?

Hi Mike:
Hi Mike:

You pretty much came up with where I'd use formula #1. On white or other lighter colors. Such as very light gray.

Hi Guys:

Been working on the shop building today. All 54 rafter tails are installed. Also 2 lights over the front doors. Roof is paint SAC Bomber Green and Has A&I Applied along with gray dry-brushing. Am now working on the roof sign.

Nice work Karl. Looking very good so far.
I specially like the colour on the roof.

MASIGMON

Karl,  I know there are some people that would never question George Sellios kit design however in this case the structure without the shingles looks better.  I am not sure a building supply center would go to the extra trouble of nailing shingles on a warehouse.  The clapboard looks perfect with the color you have used.  Love how you try to use those green roofs instead of the old stand by black.  Is the back of the structure also clapboard?

The build is coming along nicely.  The clapboard wall looks good - the only reason I can come up with to use cedar siding on a lumber yard building is to try to sell cedar siding.

Karl, What procedure did you use for the red metal roof
John, Just found out that MR. Baxter Grandson ordered too much cedar & that I why they used cedar shake on the building

Hi Mike:

Yeah I like Karl O. didn't like the shingles on the walls so I made the new clapboard walls. The Red metal roof is painted red oxide, Then light A&I and dry-brushed with country gray.

Karl,

Beautiful work. I like the walls much better as well. I never did like the shingled look of that building.

Love your work brother.
