Yep!
I started to work on that lovely kit by Bar Mills.
Thought is a good one to return after a "break" (another...) lol

The first step was change the roof...

And add some detail...

That's the look of the wood. I decided to paint the base colour using a dark tone....
Now I must decide which colour to paint the general view.

I started to work on the weathering.
Needs a lot to do yet!! Filters, washes and pigments...
And the roof! I haven't found the correct way to paint it. All the attempts finished not so good  :(

Ok...some more work done this evening.

I like the way the paint came out, how do you do it?

Hi Jim.
I mixed turpentine and acrylic paint using a brush.
For the weathering I used pigments, washes and enamel filters to reduce the white colour.
Hope this help!

My turn!  ;)

"Mooney"....?
I'm building a craftsman kit by Bar Mills with the same name....
Is there some related "connection"??  ???  ???  ???
