The corner posts were painted and added to the end walls................

The display cases were next...........I will touch up with paint when the glue dries. These were a little tricky. I must remember to get my fingernails cut.

I have decided to re-purpose this kit to a fresh fish stall. On my last trip to Bergen, Norway I walked around the fish market by the harbour and it was fasicinating.

Using Google Translate I am going to make some Norwegian signage for my little market.

Mike...

In the JL kits... David uses a really good quality paper for the signs.

One trick that I have found to get his signs to lay down in the clap board is to take a finger nail sanding board and reduce the thickness of the paper from the back side.

Cut the desired sign a little big to start and then later trim back and feather the last to get the edge you might want.

Sand it until  you can just start to see the ink from the back side.  You are there.

Put a small amount of slightly thinned white or yellow glue on the sign and place down on the structure.

Take a small but blunt devise.,.... a dull or rounded screwdriver (we all have a bunch of those!  ) and working from one side, top or bottom, press the sign in and nest it in the clap board.

It works every time.  Pick away the shininess of any glue squirting out with a very sharp #11 blade.

Then hit the whole thing with dull cote if you choose.

Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Following on.............I have been busy with exhibitions apologies for my tardiness.

I prepped all the walls and added signs I made on my computer. I am naming the stall "Naco Fisk". I googled fish companies in Norway and found they were a big supplier.

The walls were then glued together and I added pictures of fish to the front of the display stands. The roofing was applied to the card roofs using double sided tape.

Continuing the roof was glued to the walls. These are very fragile.

Excellent Mike. I think the fish pictures really add to the draw of the building.
