I agree the aged concrete looks good with the other colors. I look forward to your progress.

Looking great.  I think the color change was a good move.

Hi Lynn & John:

Thanks guys you are both correct. Also talked with George about it and he likes the aged concrete better also.

Thanks:

Hi guys:

Got A little ,ore work done on the building. Front wall window extension and signs have been added. Looks like I need some touch up on the stucco near the shingles.

Very nice Karl. Did you name it or is that the kit name? Just curious because that was James Stewart's name in It's a Wonderful Life.

Karl, looks fantastic, the colors look really good together.
Did you follow the kit instructions for the black pitch?
Work is getting in the way for me. :'(

Hi Curt:

That is the sign that comes with the kit. I will have to ask George it was named after George Bailey in the movie. Thanks for the compliment.

Hi Lynn:

No I use Apple Barrel #21490 Pavement. It dries nice and flat and is very easy to use.

Hi All:

Decided to do my roof in all corrugated. Need some advice. Want to know what you guys think. I painted it the same color green as the rolled roofing and want to know if you guys think it looks OK before I glue it in place. Or I could make a new roof with rolled roofing to match the res. Need you advice.

Karl,
I like the corrugated roof.  I think the pitch is too steep for rolled roofing.

Karl personally I don't like it but then again I purchased this kit because of the presentation George applied to it. I will be honest in the fact that I have often wondered if they had colored metal roof back in the 30's which is when I model. I really feel that the green roffing makes it look too modern but again you didn't say what you were striving for in the era look and the overall finished condition of the building. Again I must point out I have often been drawn toward Georges kits for many reasons but mostly the way he presents them, if I were an engineer I would certainly frown at some of the designs , ie a thousand gallon water tank on top of a building. ;D
