Doug,

I'm not sure what Tom W. used for the fence material but I've used wedding veil(sp) material in the past. I've also used a ribbon material I got at Hobby Lobby. The material comes in different sizes.

And here are the final five I have to post. I took more than 125 photos but many of them were pretty much the same of out of focus.

I hope ya'll have enjoyed the photos of Tom Wilson's layout. Tom was a very gracious host and was patient with us as we have never been operators before.

Also, Tom's layout will soon be featured on the ModelRailroad Hobbyists Magazine series from TrainMastersTV.com. I'm not pushing the series but check it out for your selves. It seems pretty cheap for the stuff you have access to.

Erieman

Tom,

Thanks for posting the wonderful pictures of Tom Wilson's layout. He has done a wonderful job of capturing the Steel mill look. Brings back memories of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. Really enjoyed the layout. It got me pumped about starting my steel mill complex. Oh, this is so much fun.

Frank,

Yes, it is so much fun! I guess this is the reason we say, "This is the greatest hobby in the world".
