Great pics Tom! The attention to detail here is amazing. Every scene from the rivulets in the rock cut to the massive sawmill are fantastic. I'm aware there is a a lot more urban modeling ahead as well. Great layout!

That isolated sagebrush tree stopped me in my tracks. I'm going to need a couple of those. It's got the scenic impact of a structure!

John,

This is the most complete layout I've ever visited! There is only one problem I've found with Cliff's Magnolia Route! It's not closer to my home! The problem can be fixed but I need to get Disney to offer Cliff a modeling job first! ;D ;D ;D  We have magnolia trees here in Florida as well.

Cuse,

Thanks very much! This is one layout you need to see! That dead tree is wonderful!

Notice in the next photo that once again Cliff made the road appear to drop out of the scene to the left and behind the political sign?

In the next photo you can see where the braces are located to support the upper level. I didn't crop them out as I took this photo as a reference for my build.

I can taste the cold soft serve ice cream in a sugar cone! Must be a hot day as two customers have the tops down on their convertibles.

The local law enforcement officers are doing a great job in Wharton! They've made it very clear to the Ledbetters there will be no graffiti on the water tower.

Remember the story of the young couple who had to spend the night at the Gulf station? Well, this is the station. I think their car is in the back and the Mrs. is talking to the auto mechanic about the job he did on her car.

Thanks for following along on this adventure.

Don't get too confident! When you get the main line goin' and add a water tower, the
Floridy Ledbetter cousin's are just lookin' for a new place for graffiti!!   ;D ;D ;D ;D
