i have automated the trolley line. It runs from point to point waiting in the station for a few minutes and then returns travel to the station at the other end. I am looking for a sound effect  - a trolley bell sound that i can install at both stations. just a basic ding-ding bell. Anyone come across anything like this? any info would be helpful.

Frank, Ngineering sells a 50's era gas station bell that sounds like what your looking for. They have a sound catalog on their website.

Very nice Frank. The road kind of reminds me of I-95 in Jacksonville.

I talked to Tim at Ngineering yesterday and he has found a bell sound effect that meets my trolley bell sound  requirements. He will be offering the sound module later today. Sweet. I'll be buying two , one for each station. Stay tuned.

Coming up to speed, i purchased two trolley sound boards / speakers. The speakers have been installed. One speaker is below the station on the elevated platform. The other speaker is in the Army Navy store adjacent to the other station. I removed a door and installed the speaker. The speaker is not visable from the aisle, however the speaker location will allow the trolley bell sound to revirberate off the adjecent wall, or so it says here, somewhere. Installation of the electronics to make the sound is pending. I'll take a video and post it when it is done.

In the meantime, i have been working on the Electric Furnace structure. It is 3 1/2 feet long. The basic structure is done. Metal roofing is partially complete. Several electric ovens have been built and installed in the interior of the building. I'll take some pics soom. I have also been working on the backdrop rea behind these structures. Pics soon.

Good Morning All,

Several house projects have kept me away from the forum. I graze, but have not had the time to post. The house projects have taken priority for the past couple of months. I graze the forum from time to time.

Last week i recieved official notice that i completed my MMR #683 ( master model railroader ) certification from the NMRA. This has been a long journey, but a fun one. Another placque to hang on the wall. This is a fun hobby. You meet a lot of wonderful and talented people. Of course there are many great modelers on the forum.

Hope everone has a wwonderful holiday. Back to another structure for the layout.

Frank,
Congratulations on your achievement of being a MMR with the NMRA.
Know you took time off the forum to work on those four car merit awards for your last CAR certificate needed to get your paperwork in.
Great job and look forward to see more more photos of the layout too.
