Morning Joe and others,

Feeling much better today and the sore throat is gone. Still have a little cough.

Pam took me to our Saturday watering hole for a late lunch. I had a salad and it was good to get out in the fresh air.

Have a safe and healthy day ya'll.

Good Morning All,

Started out the day with a walk at 73F and slightly humid.

After some chores we decorated the inside of the house including the tree. I decorated the outside by putting a holiday themed shoe mat at the front door.

Today is chores and finish the House of Usher Netflix series that my daughter convinced me to watch.

Welcome Joe.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning. Spent yesterday at the local NMRA show volunteering and walking around. I picked up a handful of photos of local subjects and that was it, not a Jordan to be found.. DJR

Glad to hear you're feeling better Tom.

Welcome Joe!

Yesterday was a wasted day, workbench wise.  I hope to make up for that today.  We shall see.

Have a great one!

Good Morning All,

Glad to hear that Tom is feeling better. The holiday time is not the time to feel under the weather. I have had a lot of house projects recently. We are are having the house painted and I had to replace some fascia, fix spots on our retaining walls and remove and replace a wooden shade screen area on the west side of the house before the painter started. Same color as before but it is amazing to see the fading the sun does to the paint.
Had a barbeque last night with family and relatives from Houston. In the train room today, hopefully for the entire day to work on lighting a few buildings.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Today's project has mostly been obsessing on how to do dirt roads.  I've tried something, but it'll need a couple days to dry to see if I like the result.

Anyone have suggestions for doing wheel ruts?  I don't want to drag Jordan or Berkshire Valley wagons through the mud, they're too fragile.

Dave... i use one of my grandson's lego wheels....I think my sawmill build photos in the December issue of the Gazette show wheel ruts around the sawdust bin

Terry, it's a bit late for me to try to meet the condition for a grandson (no kids :-) )   But thanks much for the idea!  Another thought occurred to me, a cheap toy car (Matchbox knock-off).
