Passing by for clean socks and underwear. Home from Columbus, OH last night to ready ourselves for a memorial service in Raleigh, NC Saturday. I foolishly thought "retirement" was when you sat around and did nothing. There is a lot of sitting involved with all of this, but in a car?
Have a successful day, all.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Morning all,

Spoke to Tom this morning and gave him my one remaining phone number.  We ditched the land line years ago.  My work number actually went bye-bye about six months before I retired.  The company noticed I never used it, so they took it away from me.  Internally we chatted via Teams all the time and never called one another.  I rarely spoke with clients.  Even when I did, that was via a Teams meeting as well.  :P

I need to do some painting (1:1 scale) outside and inside.  First challenge is there are several cans/buckets of paint out in the garage and I'm not sure which is which.  D'oh!  ::) I think I found the one I need for outside.  Not so sure about the one I need for inside.  Note to self: Label these things in the future!

Have a great one!

Dropping off my youngest at college in Winston Salem this morning (University of North Carolina School of the Arts.) Where does the time go?!

Another great summer day in SE NH, highs today in the low to mid 80s, humidity still acceptable.

Right now I'm working on the retaining wall for the track spur leading to the coal dock.  I need to get that into position, and then tackle the scenery.  I also need to build 2 more full-size bents, and then work out how much I'll have to add underneath each bent to make up for the fact that the MDF I glued there is not level, like I thought it was.  Sigh...
