Morning, all.

Wow, the first of December.  Certainly winter weather here the last few days.  No snow, thankfully, but temps in the teens this morning.

Plugging away at the FSM kit walls, will continue that today.

Morning Jeff and others drifting in,

Pam and I went to Lowe's this morning to get a few things I needed and a few things she didn't need.

I'm pulling out the Christmas stuff today.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

It was nice to see Raymo post yesterday.  I sure hope he's on the mend.  Sounds like he's been through quite a bit recently.

Had friends over for dinner last night.  My better half made crab cakes, roasted potatoes, a strawberry salad and a chocolate cheesecake for dessert.  A wonderful meal.

If I can't get into my stash drawers today, I'll pick a kit (or two) for the Winter Challenge.  I say "if" because right now there are two TV's leaning against my workbench.  Both destined for the transfer station when it reopens.

Have a great one!

Morning, while it still is. Now that my chores are done, I'll play at the bench for the rest of the day. I'm planning on taking this week off as well as I'm still not feeling 100%. I'll head to one of the big box stores then to pick up a couple of items.

Raymo,

Very happy to see you back and hope you are on the bend and doing well. Like Bob said sounds like you've been through the ringer and back.

Enjoy the week off and take it easy.

Hello Friends and Happy December,  I think.

At the bench today wrapping up some projects, then off to Gettysburg this evening for a Christmas Dinner/Party with my wife for her Daughters of the Union Veterans Gettysburg Chapter which she is the President of.  It's not a reenactor thing, so the ladies don't wear period clothing for this, they mainly do battlefield and historical preservation fundraising and programs, not unlike the DAR of which she also belongs.  However the Sons of the Union Veterans are also at this event tonight, and they do wear the Uniform/Costumes and I love to just sit back and snicker as I watch them act all official, thinking they have some sort of real ranks, and get all indignant with their self importance, saluting, and political posturing.  I sit there in my 21st century clothing popping in delicious snacks and punch like Im at the movies!

Have a great day and model on!

Good Afternoon Everyone;

Danny what you went through is scary and happening more often, glad you are on the mend and good to hear from you. Todd great to hear from you as well, something about uniforms I guess, Deb volunteered last week for parking control at a Thanksgiving event. She got a vest, walkie-talkie and a lighted baton. Told me it was a rush when she stopped a police car that entered and she lowered her sunglasses, asked them what they wanted, told them where to park and be snappy. She told them it was a power rush! They all laughed.

I helped today on the outside lighting up the house, Deb did most of the work, these days she usually does, embarrassing to say the least. This afternoon some bench time and watching the Bucs play Carolina. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good afternoon,

A few miles north of me (Barrie, On) they get lake effect snow and had 36+" of snow in a couple days. We got absolutely nothing in the city (Toronto, ON).

The wife bought a CriCut Joy xTra to play with. I get to see if I can create stencils for labeling my builds.
