Morning all,

Doug must me tired form all the layout benchwork otherwise he would have been here already. I saw his original layout and this one will be just as fantastic.

I'll be working on the Winter Challenge today and hopefully I'll get an update up on the forum.

Have a great day everyone.

Tom, you posted this about 15 seconds before I started a daily thread.   :)

Ooops, it looks like Tom snuck in while I was composing.....

Mornin'

Yesterday I worked on the benchwork for the longest wall (42ft) on my layout. It went relatively quickly because I had 3 perfect fit 96x30 salvaged open grid modules and 2 that were 96x32 that I rebuilt as 96x30.  Installing the ledger boards and then the wall supports took longer.  :)

I am going to try to knock out the next (32 ft) wall lower level benchwork today.

And the sun is out so that's a big change of pace after a week of gray/cloudy.

Hope y'all have a great day!

Doug

Matt, that's nice!

After a trip to the dentist this AM, I'll head back to the basement and trim the slates.  Then I have to make a store run.
