Thanx Larry C., thanx Phillip, and thanx Jerry; ;)

OK- it's been a while....still farting :o around with 1:1 stuff; but I have been able to get a little work done on the RR ;D  ;D  ;D .  Much needed 'extra spikes' were added to the hand laid 'flex track'.   I 'built' a DADO style cutting disk out of 3 cutting discs stacked together :o and 'loaded' into the Dremmel.  Next I cut 'slots' in the side of the flex track cork roadbed to  facilitate easier 'flexing' ;) and used 'white ball' topped long straight pins to position and hold the trackage in place, whilst running the big K27 around the curve to check for smoothness and possoble 'derail spots'- none were found and the trackage was smooth as silk ;)  ;D .

Next up is to glue the track in place and add the feeders.  'Currently' ::) the trackage gets power from the solder joints attaching it to the already powered track in Grizzly.  Photos to follow, thanx again for stopping by and ya'll come back now ;)  ;D  ;D  ;D ...........

Thanx Mike, thanx Jeff, thanx Larry C., thanx Phillip, and thanx Karl;
This has been one hell-of-a-week ???  ???  ???  ???  ???......Last Wednesday the 23rd, at about 4:45pm, Gage had a massive seizure while I was driving him home from his workout at the gym.  He's had seizures before; he is not epileptic, but does have seizure every so often.  We don't exactly know why.  We were on the way home and about 5 minutes from the closest hospital.  Normally the event passes in a few minutes, but this time I could tell it was BAD.

I rushed him to the ER and parked the car after they took him in.  I came into the trauma room as they were starting to work on him; and 2 or 3 minutes later he flatlined; in essence he died-they did CPR and for 2 minutes he was unresponsive.  Then they got him back, inserted breathing tubes, and for a few more minutes performed other emergency procedures to stablize him.  Then it was X_Rays of his chest to check for CPR rib fractures, then down the corridor for an immediate CT scan and after that an MRI, then up to the 4th floor to the ICU.  Three hours later another CT scan, and then another MRI followed by periodical EEG's throughout the night and wee hours of the morning.  I went home for 2 hours of sleep at 5AM; and they called me to come back because Gage had awakened, and removed his breathing tubes and catheter himself. :o  :o  :o  :o.....that's SO GAGE!!!!!

We spent 7 days in the hospital, and he was released yesterday the 30th in the afternoon; almost 7 days to the exact hour of the beginning of our ordeal.   I only went home to check on my wife Patrice and the 2 dogs, once a day for about an hour, each day; otherwise I was with him in his hospital room-eating, sleeping and praying.  Our relationship has been forever changed, it's as if we are ONE.  I will never be the same nor will he.  He understands what happened and knows he got a second chance, just as I did in 2013 with my heart attack and in 2023 with Patrice and her stroke.

I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY BELIEVES OR SAYS >:( ..GOD SAVED HIM... IT WAS NOT HIS TIME YET.  I'm unbelievably grateful and will be for the rest of my life-as will Patrice and his parents and friends.  It is however different with Gage and me, it just is...........................

I never wanted nor had kids.  I married late, inherited a 12 year old son, and my wife and I raised his son GAGE practically from birth.  HE BELONGS TO US, and we would have been devastated beyond grief to lose him.  Thank you GOD. ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

We'll discuss the RR and I'll have some interesting developments and photos later today or tomorrow.... ;D  ;D  ;D  ;)

Thanx again for stopping by and I'll see ya 8)  8)  8)  8)  8)
