I sure do appreciate all the compliments and comments, they are put to good use ;D  ;) .....Today (Sunday)- I decided to go a different route.... ::) ...for some time I've been trying to decide how to add/install a std. gauge interchange track and just show the difference in size to the 'great unwashed'  :o  :o  ;) ....but what's an interchange with only a boxcar???? ::)  ::) .....so I grabbed my pencil and paper and started to sketch, but the more I drew the more complex it got  >:(  :o ... so tossed the paper and just started moving sh*t around :o  :o  ;D ....and I think it came out pretty damn swell ::)  ;D  ;) ....whadda ya think.......??? ;D  ;D

Kyle, that looks great.  It fits the scene, although the standard gauge train kinda blocks some of the view of the NG beyond.  I would NOT change it, though.  I'd just generally position a standard gauge flatcar on that track :-)

It looks like it works Kyle. If you're happy with it then that's what matters.

Yeah, the flatcar looks great parked there.  Looking at that 10-wheeler, is Casey Jones an engineer on the standard gauge?

Dang Kyle that standard Loco looks HUGE. Nicely done and I agree with the others the flatcar looks great where it's at.

My thoughts were it doesn't ever have to be a frozen static display, as to how the area is featured. It could be any number of different loads coming in for the town, and therefore different types of cars bringing them in.

Or just as easily out going  product from local industries Change it up from time to time.

Within our miniature worlds, hopefully we example real situations because "life goes on"  We have all of eternity to become static. In the meantime, have fun with it!
