Hiya, all.  The last few days have seen a significant decrease in the snow cover, the front yard has patches of (brown) grass and the female dog is very happy to pee on the grass.  (The male doesn't care...  :) )  We had one roofer come by for an estimate yesterday, the other is due tomorrow.  Both roofers have done multiple roofs in the neighborhood the last couple of years, so they're "pre-qualified" by my neighbors.  If I get seriously motivated, I'll try to run the ethernet cable outside the office room, underneath the siding, and down into the basement.  That'll replace the ethernet cables running across the floor.  This is due to a piece of coax inside the walls that has mysteriously started to fail.  Very frustrating!

More pondering the Ambroid roof.  Bob Parrish suggested I could splice 2 pieces of NESL roof together to get one of the proper length.  I'll have to think about that, it might be the least-effort solution, but of course I'll have to be careful when gluing and finishing the spliced roof.

Just got home from the Town Hall; I've been elected Selectman again. This will be my 6th 3-year term.

Sunny and up to the 60s this afternoon, most snow is gone. Walking home from voting, my wife and I picked up a whole bag of roadside trash in a quarter mile.  I sincerely wish whoever is throwing almost empty pints of Smirnoff out of their vehicle window would seek treatment; we picked up 15 and that stretch of road isn't the only place they appear.  Yes, the caps are all carefully screwed on.
