I have a kit for the Railroad Avenue Hotel that I want to build, however the instructions are pretty sparse, and I have a couple of questions on how the parts go together.

If you built the kit, I would like to talk to you.

Barry, Welcome to this Forum and I recall this was a topic of another Forum that recently went off line. If you have built some larger craftsman kits then your ready for this one ! This link below will show all photos of the plans in the kit for your info in case your kit is missing something...putty will be needed since some of the wall parts may be poor fitting...instructions are like a puzzle that is why previous builds are a must...good luck ! .... also included a photo from Ebay of one that was sold a year or two ago for your reference...Tommy

Barry, welcome and that looks like a great kit to build.
Maybe you'll start a construction thread when you start.

Barry, here are a few more photos from that Ebay auction that I saved that show the kit model built up...hope they help your project...shows that you can change the color choice of the box also...Tommy

I remember when that kit came out.  It's "prototype size", but would never have fit on my layout...

Welcome aboard, Barry.  This kit looks like a challenging build.  Hope you will post a build thread, interested in seeing what you do with it.

Thanks Tom,

I have never seen photos of the back of the building other than the grainy B&W photos included with the kit.

This has been very helpful.
