Good Morning Folks;

Watching the Indycar pre-race show while enjoying coffee. Another hot day on tap here. I did make some progress on the landscaping of layout yesterday and plan on doing some more today. Other than that not sure what I will get involved in but the day is young. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend for those in the States.

Good morning everyone.

Sunny and a high in the upper 80's in Oregon today.

Jim, thanks for the third cup and enjoy the Indy pre-race show.

Nothing planned for today.
Taking it easy and resting up for tomorrow's hike.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all.

Mowed yesterday and trimmed a tree which obstructs the mowing.  Headed to 72 degrees later.  Will take a walk later and work on the kit during the ballgames.

Morning all,

Worked on painting details yesterday and hope to finish that task today. Then it'll be on to weathering the walls and trim for the current build. I may have to set it aside soon as I have yet to receive the missing part. 😕

Like Jim said, another hot day on tap here in Central Florida.

Have a great one!

Good morning, Jim & crew. Unlike Florida, the NH seacoast is in the mid-50s, overcast with occasional glimpses of the sun and a chance of a shower later.  I've got my bills paid, next will be visiting my bank, then Amesbury Industrial Supply. Probably some model work this afternoon, but then dinner with (so the young couple says) our future in-laws. Time will tell...

Morning Gents...

MR day today...too hot outside and visitors tomorrow. Ambitious week with a lot of visible progress...I actually have the HOn30 loop running (with alligator clips) and expect to drop a bunch of feeders, clean the track and get started on an orderly wiring plan.

I'll really need to keep it neat as I have limited access underneath because the benchwork is largely on attractive cabinets and I have 3 independent loops (with sidings, etc)...HOn30 is the most complex track, with an HOn3 loop & branch just above, and an N scale loop way up in the mountains. All 3 loops have hidden turnarounds mounted on thin shelves on the wall behind the backdrop.

The vision for the layout has really come together in my head and there's lots of directions I can choose to work on if I get bored or uninspired with one facet of the project or another...but I DID want to have at least a simple opportunity to run trains.

7 weeks until we hit Switzerland and ride the Glacier Express and quite a few other trains.

We're down to 2 weeks until we head to Amsterdam for our river cruise.  We'll have to get together after your trip to compare notes (plus I have some finished detail castings for you).

Absolutely...love to catch up. We had a fantastic time on the (slightly different than yours) Netherlands river cruise last year. We're already discussing another next year.
