I spoke to Bill and Cindy yesterday and he is in good spirits. I gave him a pep talk about rehab. It won't be easy but I told him not to be a victim of the fall and surgery.

These trains don't run without him at the throttle.

Tom so sorry to hear about the Judge. You're a good friend and I'm sure a much needed positive perspective on his situation. Hope he has a complete and speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about the Judge Tom. Hope all goes well for him with the rehab and recovery.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I spoke to Bill yesterday and his recovery is slow as he is still very sore from the hip surgery.

He has been working with the rehab and PT folks. The recovery will be hard but he is working at it.

Great news Tom. Stay with it Bill. The PT is worth the pain.

I called Bill yesterday to wish him a Merry Christmas. He is doing fine and sounded in great spirits.

He said the PT is going well but slow. They told him if he keeps at it he will be released to go home for home PT January 5, 2026.

For Bill, getting back home will be an epiphany  ;)

(Speaking of 'going home', some of you might remember wife's niece's daughter, born 3 months premature.  Looks like she'll be coming home around Jan 15, about 2 weeks after the original due date.)

That's great news, sounds like the recovery is going well.

Dave, it sounds like the little one is doing well also, I bet her parents can't wait to bring here home.

Please let the Judge know Deb and I wish him speedy recovery. Deb herself is scheduled for another knee replacement the 8th. Same right knee as last year. Original doctor blew it and now a specialist has to replace everything and get it right second time. She is not a happy camper.

Jim, very sorry to hear The Boss has to go through another knee surgery. I wish her a speedy recovery as well.

Thanks all for Bill's speedy recovery well wishes. I speak with him daily and he is doing very well. He has been working on getting in and out of the car. They have a vehicle mockup at rehab.

He walks a little further each day. Rehab is twice daily, morning and afternoon.

I'll continue to pass on our well wishes to him.
