Are you planning to seal the walls before you tackle the stucco?

Dave,

I don't think that is necessary as I'm using Floquil Reefer White Enamel with the Durham's. However, I did spray the walls with Tamiya Insignia White rattle can spray. Not so much to seal the walls, but more to give me a base white as an undercoat.

That's probably good enough to prevent warping from the stucco process.

Great progress Tom.  It's not as simple a build as I thought it would be.  Thanks for all the photos and updates.  Still stalking your build.  Mark

I've always thought Horwoods to be one of the better projects out there. Modern and clean.

You're doing a fine job of construction and better than fine job of 'splainin'

Mark,

Thank you very much, I appreciate the comment. No, this isn't a simple build even though I've added more work to the build.

Thank you also for being a stalker here.  ;D All stalkers are certainly welcome.

Brother Karl,

Thank very much, I appreciate the comment. This is a build that is more difficult than it appears on the box photo. However, it will be a very fine addition to the A&S RR when finished.

Sometime over the past week I sprayed the exterior walls with Tamiya Insignia White. I did this just to be safe when adding the stucco to the walls.

I'll be using Floquil White with the Durham's Water Putty. The Floquil is a lacquer base so I shouldn't have a warping issue.

The stucco will cover any paint blemishes and seams.

Done for this fine day.

Looks great Tom. Do you need some Tuscan Red for the keystone shape?
