Detailing track with debris

I used an old coffee grinder to make debris. I throw real dried leaves, paper, an twigs in it and apply it to track after ballasting it.

That's a good idea.  I've put real dead & dried marsh grass through a blender to make wrack for the edges of my salt marshes, I'll try it on leaves for the RoW.  Even if prototype track is all new with clean stone ballast, it doesn't stay that way past the first week.

I've used dried/used tea leaves.

That a detail that's not often modeled, but should be.
Nice work.

Good idea; and it would have a nice scent?

I was somewhat hesitant to put debris on the fresh ballast, but glad I did put it on the newly ballasted track.
