I've seen an update, citing a letter from Dr Wayne Wesolowski himself, that rumors of his passing were exaggerated..  That's Great News!

And my sincere apologies for passing along unconfirmed rumors.

Great news! I exchanged emails with him occasionally. Here is a model I built from his plans. The Octagon Tower was in RMC long ago.

I, too, am happy to hear this. I was honored to have an article in a recent Railroad Model Craftsman book and delighted to share those pages with Wayne, as well as many other talents. I too read his articles in my youth and would never have imagined having my byline alongside his. I hope that he has many more modeling years ahead!

When I search the obits a Wayne popped up but it wasn't the man in question. It was a younger gentleman with the exact same name passed to the great beyond.
