Morning all,

Sunny and 57 as I took out the trash this morning, headed to 78 later.

A trip to the grocery store and mowing are on the agenda for later today.

Cut a piece of trim for the left edge of the backdrop area, while fitting it noticed I need to put the upper fascia on first, so I managed a 4 x 8 foot piece of masonite through the table saw which took a bit more energy than I thought, especially as I was so full still from brunch, and it was time to watch the Red Sox lose again.  So that needs to be put up and painted today along with the trim piece.

Good morning, Jeff and later-rising (or western) crew members. It's cool in the lower Merrimack Valley. Sunny with high haze, forecast to be replaced by rain clouds after lunch.  When the youngster is up and dressed, he's tasked with separating brush from firewood and moving the brush to the pile.  I'll save my bill-paying for the rainy afternoon,

8) Good sunny morning from Michigan, overnight rain has things still damp, temps just into 60s, headed to 70 some.

Had a nice day yesterday, mediocre meal at Cracker Barrel, family nice, tho.  Saw or heard from all the kids on my list.

Doctor Jeff,
If you haven't seen any of the film yet, go on YouTube and see what the lovely Scots World Cup Fans have done to Beantown. Things have gotten to the point where the downtown pubs were afraid of running out of beer. Great laughs!
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Good morning all,

I never got around to mowing the overgrown lawn yesterday, so I'll deal with that after this post. That's okay though. My normal mowing day is Wednesday so it gets me closer to back on schedule.  ;)

Per Dave's request here a few pictures from our trip. We started by spending a couple of days in Lucerne, Switzerland. The first two pictures were taken from the balcony in our hotel room.  Shortly after we arrived it became cloudy and we lost the view. The mummy was inside a church.  :o

Have a great one!

Update: I'm trying a larger file size. I hope that solves the issues with the pictures.  :P

Chip, the Scots in Boston were awesome.  They were so loud at Fenway it was incredible.  Unfortunately, the Sox don't win at home, but at least the Scots were entertaining.

Good to see you're back from your trip, Bob.  Your pics are odd on my PC, colors are washed out and very pixelated.

Yeah, my resizing effort made them too small. I need to figure out the right settings.

Good evening, all. It's been raining on the lower Merrimack Valley since about 2 PM.  Bob, your pictures look OK on my laptop.  I photographed two of the same Lucerne sights, but from different perspectives:

Mt. Pilatus (I think) south of the city, from the preserved city wall.

St. Leodegar's church from the quay by the main RR station.

How seriously Lucerne takes its trolleybuses. Double-articulated and the driver must keep the rear unit more or less under the overhead wires!!
