I wonder if Warner's Hardware has any connection to present day Warner Tools (painting related tools) of Plymouth, MN. Perhaps not as Warner Tools was founded in the 1930s

Appears Warner Hardware sold Sherwin Williams paint as seenin the "cover the earth" signage.

Only a few of those roofs are as messy as I remember from living in 1970s Boston.  Very much pre-air conditioning.
