Morning all,

Another scorcher here today with  heat index of 100+ later.  I'll try a mile walk this morning before it gets bad.

I have an appointment with the ortho knee PA this afternoon to see what he has to say about the knee.  I suspect it's a meniscus tear, but we'll get his opinion and probably schedule an MRI, hopefully.

No train work yesterday, we'll see what today brings.

Weather here in SE NH is quite nice.  It got down to 59 last night, heading to 81.  Sunny, and much less haze than the previous couple of days.  But heat, and haze, return tomorrow (presumably another shift of the jet stream, as well as a front moving through bringing rain.  Down to the train room, today should be an open day (until 4:00, when I listen to a live talk on the week's legal decisions.)

Greetings from the hazy filled UP. It's cooler this morning but still hazy and Smokey. It's not quite as bad as yesterday but super unhealthy.

We've decided to head home to get back into the real a/c.  We've had a good time. It's been nice have the Doll's kids and grands. They're headed back to AZ.

Jeff best luck with the knee.

Saw a video of a couple of the Blue Angels making a low pass of the beach in Florida. I'd guess there's some major disruption to their flight status after that trick.

Enjoy the day all.

Apparently, no adverse actions in response to the low pass.  Sigh...

Residents in the Pensacola area were a bit more tolerant of the Angels flights while I was stationed there.
I recall one afternoon when they came home from practice flying inverted in formation just off shore.  Low altitude pass. Don't recall any complaints being raised.

Afternoon all,

Good luck with the knee, Jeff. I had my first physical therapy session this morning. Twelve more to go along with exercising at home.  :P

I'll be providing airport transportation this afternoon.  :P :P

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

Dr. Jeff, best wishes with the knee. As we get older, these are become a major inconvenience.

Karl, glad you and the Doll had a good time with the gang.

Hope all are having a great day.
