Howdy.

Happy Friday to all.

Even the F&SM has tiny little gas powered critters. I imagine they are cheaper to operate than diesels but no doubt with the price of petroleum going through the roof it wouldn't make much difference.

I've already done half my yard work and I have the afternoon off. Therefore, I can finish the yard this afternoon and have the weekend free to do as needed.

We are still having a heat wave here. Maybe in 10 days the temps will begin to fall.

Good morning, Jaime and those getting dressed. Sunny on the NH seacoast, high 70s midday. Picked up the first two Pawpaws while I was letting the chickens out.  Need to work on my Gravely this morning, plus continue harvesting apples. And the NER is still waiting for details of the 15-minute soldering clinic I'm doing at the Southbridge, MA convention.

TGIF doesn't mean much when you're retired.  I used to laugh at my dad when he didn't know what day of the week it was.  I'm now in the same boat.  

I found the electric knife, so some styrofoam will get cut today to make some landforms on The Empire.

Lions were outclassed last night. 3 day rest since their skinny win in OT Sunday?  Who knows.

25th anniversary today, taking the Doll to eat a bit later.

Wife is at the hospital for that 'special senior medical procedure'.  The cleaners are coming in a bit, and afterwards I'll get the call to fetch the wife.  

The big activity for today will be moving the laser from the garage down to the basement, its permanent home.

Hope your wife does well. My gal's last one went South as Doc was clumsy with the tool and poked a hole. Not good...ruined the summer .

Thanks for this note this morning! I just booked a plumbing check appointment for January yesterday. What does it tell you when Dr. Looker is booked out almost four months? My last look three years ago was deemed to be "the last" due to age. Has the "science" changed in the mean time?

Morning all. No running around till till the afternoon. Picture of my Open Hearth  Furnace. The furnace, Mixer Crane 3d designed and created by me. The engine is HOn3 2 very old Hustler shells with a GE 44 tonner used for bay window over a Hollywood Foundry drive .The OH is at eye level so you look right into the furnace. Have a good day.

Evening all,

Busy day. We'll, for me anyway. Did my exercises this morning. Then broke out the pressure washer and did some cleanup outside. Cleaned up, did a trip to the grocery store and then my back said what were you thinking? 

Glad to hear Tom is almost finished with the chemo!

Nice to see Tom W posting as well. I have a Pollack hot metal car sitting on the workbench that reminds me of my visit to Tom's place. Long story on how I came in possession of that car. I'll save it for another time.
