Morning all.  New England has a world ending Nor'easter hitting  this weekend with many inches of rain, trees falling, power outages, cows flying through the air, and general mayhem running through the streets. Seriously, we need the rain and there will probably be some damage from weaken trees and flooding. Stay safe DR

Hatches are mostly battened (window next to me is still open to enjoy the fresh air.)  Scotch Club was relocated to last night, the theme was 'favorites'  (I brought Port Charlotte 10, which is definitely a group favorite.)  

Today I should finish the laser cut shed.  Then I need a major pick-up/put-away/vacuum the floors effort in both rooms.

Cloudy in the 60s later with more rain as well.  Good luck to those dealing with the nor'easter.

My wife broke the range Thursday.   Hit a button there was a flash and a pop and it no longer worked 

I spent yesterday researching ranges and we ordered one at Lowe's.   Would have preferred to get it from the local independent shop but they didn't carry the brand.  

This means we'll be visiting restaurants over the next week.  She's thrilled 

It's our 45th anniversary today so the range is her gift.

Hard frost and dense fog this morning with clear sun lit sky here in MI. 70 later an no rain forecast here for several days. Our H on the weather map holding the NEaster in the, North East!   

Good crop of ops from 7-8 to 83 at the session ongoing. Going well. 2 switch local runs under the belt so far.

SPARTANS late afternoon today.

Decal project went to crap, all for naught? We'll see.

Good afternoon, all.  In the lower Merrimack Valley it's been raining off and on. Mostly off when I gave my son and GF a tour of the apples, mostly on for the past hour. Forecasters think think this will continue till Tuesday morning, with more than 2" of rain through tomorrow. That might put water in some basements nearby, but unlikely to bother mine.  As of this morning my cell can't see its SIM anymore, so my current project is figuring out the best way to replace it, while avoiding the lock and preloaded crap I'd get if I went to my carrier.

Dan, your picture suggests the Chicago River during a 1900-era dredging project?  Jeff, i keep a BBQ lighter around in case my gas range's sparker fails. Won't do much good if yours is electric, though.
