Morning all,

Sunny and headed to 89 degrees later.  The high Friday will be 30 degrees cooler.   :o

Slow layout progress, did watch football yesterday and listened to the Patriots victory.

If you're still working, have a good week.  :)

The overnight rain is over and it's sunny but a bit cool.  Warming up to 71, so a warm fall day today.  More rain tomorrow, which we need.  Leaves should peak this week or next.

Yesterday was productive.  I worked on rock 'castings' ("rubber rocks"from Cripplebush), a bit on the laser-cut shed, and started a freight car kit.

Greetings!

They promised us lots of rain this past weekend. We didn't get it. I hope all that were in the path of the storm fared well.

I am still waiting for AI to replace me at work. Tick tock, tick tock.....

I found this photo of a billiards joint on the F&SM. When AI replaces me perhaps I'll start hanging out at the local pool hall.

Later.

Good afternoon Jeff, Dave, Jaime and those outside on the porch. Dave, my butternut trees are almost bare and the sugar maples are dropping leaves rapidly.  Oaks haven't started to change yet, though.

It's gotten quite pleasant outside in the lower Merrimack Valley. My ex-B-in-L stopped by and we figured out the most efficient way to fix a floor hatch into an otherwise isolated crawlspace under my El (probably the "little house" part of my "big house, little house, back house, barn" complex).  Then a couple more storm windows installed, laundry got done and hung out. I took a moment to check in here before lunch.

Afternoon all,

Love that picture, Jamie! I see Another example of George incorporating one of the pictures I sent to him a long time ago. Miles and Timm was a store in Mahanoy City, PA. My mother worked there when she was young. Those ads were exposed on the walls of adjacent buildings when the movie theater was torn down in the 90's.

Of to get a haircut shortly. Good thing too. I'm starting to resemble Bigfoot.

Have a great one!
