Morning all,

Cloudy with a high in the low 50s here today.

Hopefully the political ads are over.  They were still running them here after the polls closed.   :P

I have two Proto 2000 GP7s that need DCC sound installed.  I opened one of my other ones to see how I did it, and the "insides" are different.   It looks like I cut down the old one, but I don't remember doing that and I have no milling equipment here.   Did I use a hacksaw?  Weird.  I think I can get a decoder and speaker in them,  but I'd also like to have a "keep alive" as well.  Will work on that today.

Well, elections are over, and hopefully it's safe to turn on the TV and open the mailbox...

Dogs are at the groomers, house is quiet.  Some errands to run before I get back down to the train room.

Morning  Dr Jeff, Dave and all that stop by today. Cemetery work  this morning as it will be warm in these parts later today. I'm not sure how long this building has occupied a roof on George's layout but it caught my eye  on the last visit. Molded in plastic, it could easily be scratch built and covered in corrugated sheeting.

Dark day in Michigan. Rain but warm. Unsettling clouds real and figuratively 8) The noise of the political season will tone down. The aftermath will be far reaching.  8)

The gas prices have dropped already and they haven't even covered the bodies yet.

I'm carting the Doll around after several hours of yard work yesterday that tired me out. I'll have some time later for some hobby stuff. The Postal disservice has some neat American Eagle stamps on sale right now.
