Nice job as usual.
Personally, I used always X-Acto N17 blade for this job. It work well and broke less stringer than N11 blade (in my opinion).
The second way to avoid any brokage, is to glue (with scholar stick glue) a template on the wood, and once all the stringer cut off, remove the template with a little bit of water (tested nd approved by myself :D )

Hello All,
I'm working actually on the RSM carricks corner kit.
Unfortunatelly, the signage sheet (where we found the large required for the WIlliamson book store) provide in my kit are severely damaged. Does anyone among you have this kit and could scan this sheet (or take a good pictures) and send it in private message ?
Thank in advance fellow modelers, and have all of you a merry  christmas and happy holidays

Very nicely done.
Usually when I do this kind of work, I work only with stripwood, on a 1/32 basswood base,
I like doing that :)

Kit Building / Boring kit with a great Result
September 08, 2024, 05:21:17 PM
Hello Guys,
Today I've a question for you :
Have you ever found that assembling a particular kit was totally boring, but the final result is simply awesome.
Have encounter this situation with the «FSM JS-12 Oatman's mercantile»
I've buy and build this kit during the summer 2022 (and Autumn an d part of winter of the year).
The kit is very well done, all the part are mode from the best quality (as all FSM Kit), all the instruction are very detailed and clear, but I don't like my experience with it. Boring is the unique word have in mind about it.
I don't have the fun with it that I could have with my two best kit ever (FSM MacKenzie milling and FSM fox Run Milling CO).
But .... but... the result is great, a very beautiful dio.
ANd you Have you encounter this kind of situation ?

Pictures in a few...
