I thought I saw Model Tech saying they had a few FSM kits , but I can't find them on their site so I could be mistaken. https://modeltechstudios.com/
Sierra west scale models has some fsm and south river kits listed. Might be what you remembered.

Did anyone get any pictures of the dealer room and all of the new stuff that the rest of us missed out on?

Hi Gang;
Anyone been to see Bob lately? I was wondering if he has made anymore progress.

Doug sent an email confirming that my kit status changed to "shipped" on the 31st.  The USPS tracking notification indicates that the package left Pawcatuck, CT on the 5th.

Looking forward to getting this kit!!
Same as mine! Looks like a lot of just slightly late christmas presents

South rivers dioramas are always  huge, at 24" He likes to be able to photo them without having the edge show. With this one you could eliminate the backside rock work, the trolley trackwork and the road in front, and end up with something like 16" square. If its your first south river kit, I would build it just as he describes, because you will learn so much.

Kit Building / Re: who made this kit?

I built this kit about 15 years ago. The main building never did go together the way it was supposed to, so I modified it with pieces of dpm walls. The rest of the kit was just o.k. Instructions were just like fsm kits. I think master creations instructions go worse with each successive kit until you needed prozac to build their sawmill. All I can say is good luck.
