Awesome start Bobby! Board weathering and coloration is wonderful. I agree with you, the knots look a bit too big. Use the flush-cut clippers mentioned in the manual to trim them flush with the boards. They are sticking out too far and that makes them look bigger than they actually are. Use a few drops of the alcohol/chalk mixture to color the trimmed toothpick.

Keep it up and remember I'm always available via phone or email if you need anything!

Well this will be lots of fun to watch! Haven't seen a build thread on one of my boats in at least five years.

The Addison is named after well known modeler Jon Addison. He's crazy! He loaned me two boats he scratch built so I could dismantle them and make molds of the two water-line hulls. They were just so awesome and Jon nailed the look of the "backwoods" in a boat! The other boat the "Jewel" along with the Addison were released with Foss' Landing back in December 2000. I have seen many built up versions of the boats over the years but this will only be the third or fourth build thread.

Excellent work. the individual shingles look fantastic. Can't wait to see them weathered and stained. Gonna look awesome on the tower for sure.

Beautifully ugly work. Brett would be proud!

Hah! Very proud!

Excellent recovery Steve. Roof looks great. That roofing card adhesive is crazy strong and I know from personal experience how hard it is to peel corrugated panels off... just saying.
