Here is how it should look on the gable end. I added a 2X6 horizontally. You can see this board just above the windows.

Hi Tom,
Love the tip on cutting the gable roof ends.  I always have problems doing the perfect 45 degree cut and this is so much easier!  Thanks.  Put another Diet Pepsi on my tab....

Hi Uncle Tommy,
Just wanted to say HI and see how much "Diet Pepsi" was required for such a project.  Doing well here but just buried in household projects these days.  As always, your model and progress are outstanding!

Hi Everyone,
Still having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact the 2023 is nearly over.

I do have a question for the group.  Since the forum is back, should we do a 2024 build contest?

Hi Tom,
Awesome work as usual.  I hope you and the Babe have a Merry Christmas.

Morning all,

Ah, another Saturday this week. Where does the time go?

The Judge is coming over to run trains this morning and all those interested are welcome to come on by  as well.

Have a safe and healthy day ya'll.

Tom

Hi Tom,
Is that offer good for Bob and me out here in Boise Id?  Might take a bit of convincing him on my part for a road trip like that!

Hehe

Merry Christmas and have another Diet Pepsi on me....

Hi, Good to be back. Tom told me the forum was on the mend. Too bad I couldn't say the same for my computer.  It looks like the power supply gave out and I've switched over to my tablet for a while while I wait on parts.  So I guess you could say I know what this year's Christmas present is!

Tom is biting at the bit to get back to the shed.  Unfortunately, it takes time to recover from surgery.  He has a new kit (I think the Babe gave it to him for Christmas) that has several structures in it.  He said he read through the 21 pages of instructions to familiarize himself with the kit.  I bet he is already figuring out how he will improve it. I think I saw the box the last time I was in the shed and it seems to me it had a triangular-shaped building in it. I would recognize the name if I saw it again.  I'll ask next time I speak with Tom.

I'll keep you posted.

I think Tom told me he was planning on doing the latest Super kit from Doug Foscale back in December.  That would be the Flat Iron District Kit.

Maybe Tom needs to get home as soon as possible so he can take his medicine, a cold Diet Pepsi!

Hehe

Get well soon Tom!  Glad to hear things are going well.
