That looks really nice. Could you take a few pictures of it at night to show off the lighting?  Great rendition of this kit.  Thanks for sharing, Mark

Tom.  As all have stated, best wishes and a speedy recovery.  Having a recent hospital stay myself, it will be a relief to have this over, and to put in the review mirror.  Mark

Fantastic modeling and the diorama is huge. Everything looks so natural to me, the coloring of the structures, rocks and scenery.

Just extremely well done and thanks for all the photos. I know it takes time to shoot, load, crop and post them.

Thanks Tom.  You are legend on this site, thanks for all your efforts as well.  Mark

Thanks Jerry.  It took months, but was worth it.  Still some stuff to finish up.  I'll post more pictures when I finish.  Mark

Quote from: Pennman on June 15, 2026, 10:22:43 AMThis is a joy to view with all of the incorporated structures and well-constructed scenery.
I am lost for words after viewing all of your progressive photos and it's marvelous atmosphere
is an inspiration for me. I once stated that I would attempt a scratchbuild of the main structure
and it is still on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.

Rich

Thanks Rich,  That's going to take a lot of work to scratch build the main structure.  I hope you will post it if you find the time to make the build.  Mark

Quote from: friscomike on June 15, 2026, 09:24:27 AMHowdy,

Your layout and structures are exceptional.  Nice work all around.

Have fun,
mike

Thanks Mike.  I like working on the big kits since they usually require a diorama of some sort to take shape.  My next build will not be as large.  Mark

Quote from: Zephyrus52246 on June 15, 2026, 07:22:26 AMWow.  The rockwork, buildings, scenery, it's all beautifully done.

Jeff

Thanks Jeff.  I looked forward to the rockwork until it began to drag a bit.  I wanted to express the kit the way Doug intended when he designed it.  Mark

I know it's big but you should really try and take this outside to photograph it in natural light if you can.
This entire scene would look even better!

Greg

Thanks Greg, but I'll need some helping hands to get it outdoors.  I may take some photos outside once it's finished.  It's sitting up on the rack until I get the roads, water and other stuff completed.  I needed a break

Quote from: Mark Dalrymple on June 14, 2026, 11:35:42 PMReally great to see your progress and read about your adventures.

The build has came up wonderfully well.  It is an impressive main structure and looks like it would be a fun build.

Have you checked out modelu for children?

Thanks for that link Mark.  I'll have to give it a look.  This was a fun build, but also a lot of work.  Looking forward to my next project.  Mark

Cheers, Mark.
