Very nice touch Dave. Wonderful work as usual.

Where did you get your dumpster from. I ended up designing my own as I did not see anything out there that I liked. I like your's.
I made the dumpster out of some card stock junk mail. I found a drawing of a dumpster on some website that sells dumpsters and scaled it down so I had something to go by.

George, is that the Mayflower in there? What era are you modeling again?  ;D

Could be they got a little off-course from Plymouth Rock, but I have another ship in mind.
"Hey you guys!"
;)
A model of the "Inferno" is rather expensive. The last one I saw was $2700.

But how do we know it won't be traipsing across a field smelling daisies?
I don't understand what that means.

I made a short train out of some broken up junk.

I bought one of the mini table saws from Harbor Freight because I needed a part off of it to fix my old Jarmac table saw. The Harbor Freight mini saw is junk. The one in the link doesn't look to good to me.
I've been looking at all the different mini saws and the one from Micro Mark seems to be the best deal. There are other ones that I like but they cost a whole lot more. I've been using my Jarmac saw for over 20 years. I replaced the motor with one that has a little more power that I got from Granger. Since they don't make the saw anymore it has become difficult to find new blades. I may have to get a new saw in the near future.

Dioramas / Ernie Hoffnagle's Place

Ernie Hoffnagle wasn't sure if it was a rock or a maybe a dinosaur bone in his garden. He called in some experts and now it's all a big mystery.

That is awesome , is the race car scratch built or is it a kit ?
Sort of a combination of scratch building and kit bashing. I used parts from Jordan models and a tank from some airplane junk that I got.

Cheez - I just noticed this. The sidewalks and roads are crazy good. How did you do them? (Everything else is good too, of course, but the sidewalks, roads and landscaping in general really jumped out at me.) I have fond memories of the Superior Bakery kit. I screwed up at least two of them back in the day.....
Thanks. I make my roads and sidewalks with plaster of paris. I use a mixture of acrylic paint, white glue, vinegar, dish soap and water. The color goes all the way through and the inconsistency is what makes it look pretty good.
