Good morning from Vince!

Good morning Vince and those that follow.  I'm back home working on my layout this morning. I got a call from my wife yesterday that it was 59 degrees in the house and the furnace would not turn on. So my stay at the Northern Hqtrs. was cut short and $1279 dollars later the furnace is now working again.  New induction motor on a holiday weekend, in May. The problem with most equipment in your house, I could run the codes and tell the guy which parts to bring - but I have no access to the parts on short notice. Anyway, on to modeling.  Here is my picture for the day from the Narrow Gauge Layout Tours, I hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Vince and everyone else. Furnace? What is that, much be a Northern thing. We are off to help Deb's sister move after church. I thought I was going to have the day to work on current model. Turns out I was mistaken, who knew. Hope everyone enjoys the day.

Morning All,

Maybe a little train time today but tomorrow we blast off in our RV for a week of R&R in Jekyll Island, GA...been a while since I've taken more than a long weekend-I'm hoping I can regain my ability to relax. Have a good day!

Morning all,

A little workbench time yesterday.  A little more today.  Should do some yard work that I didn't do yesterday but we'll see.  I'm suffering from some weird lower back spasms so I don't want to aggravate the situation.

Have a great one!

Railroad-Line seems to be down still.  I'm sure Joe is working hard to get it back up.  Not sure if it's hardware, software, cyber attack, or installing a new version.

Anyway, just cloudy and still cool in SE NH, more rain possible this afternoon and tomorrow morning (warmer tomorrow.)  I'm sure weather will clear just in time for people coming home on Memorial Day.

Add:  For a culinary experiment, I did "New England kheer" (Indian style rice pudding), substituting maple syrup for some of the sugar and dried cranberries for the raisins.  Not bad out of the pot, but it'll be even better once it's sat for a while.

Morning all,

I was here at 6:30 AM but decided since it was early and overcast, I'd work in the yard. That was 4 hours ago and now time for a shower and layout play, er, I mean layout work.  8)

Yep, no clue as to a furnace but my HVAC heating and AC are working.

Have a great day ya'll.

Really weird to be finishing first coffee at noon time. Almost as strange as it was to see unmasked folks at church today for the first time in 15 months. Live services is better than YouTube.
Have a great one, all.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Afternoon everyone

Another rainy day in Jersey that makes 4 in a row!!

Wish my hands didn't hurt so much I could have done a lo at the bench.  Oh well I can do 30 minutes!

Everyone have a great day!! :)

Good afternoon, all.  I'm being rained on at about 50F just like Dave, but I lit our wood cookstove before breakfast.  Pancakes & bacon for breakfast, fried rice for lunch, both cooked on it.  I got the basics together for the Mill City 2021 convention layout tour website, now I need more layout pictures.  But enough computers, time to switch the stove from pine (cooking) to hardwood (heat) and go work on my layout.
