Morning all,

Back to work.  Only three days this week and then I'm off for two weeks plus two days.   ;D

Yesterday I installed a "Little Sounds" unit in my current build labeled "Gulls in harbor" and it works.   :)  Guess I need to go find some gulls to mount on the pilings and add some...err...evidence of droppings to the top of the pilings as well.  ;D

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Worked in the yard yesterday and didn't get any modeling done. Today a few errands with Pam and then I'll get back to the layout.

I forgot to report that I did find the lower level short. As Bill mentioned in the Saturday Report it was caused by a passenger car wheel across a thrown turnout.

Have a great day ya'll.

Morning, all.

Hope to mow the lawn today, the mower has had problems starting at times.  The interlock on the blade seems to not want to work.  Getting it fixed probably would take weeks and by then, the grass would be up to the top of the house.  Need to try out the new weed wacker as well.  Should vacuum the layout track and run a cleaning train, we'll see.

Morning,

Boy! heat headaches are in abundance in my house. Basement cool does help, but the fridge is not there.

Good morning. I have been partially off the internet grid for a few days (no bandwidth for pictures). I'm going to give it a try this morning. One of my favorite areas on the F&SM.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Two weeks ago, a service tech told us our central air was on its last legs. Friday afternoon, just after the hour you can't reach anyone by phone at a business, it quit.
This morning at 3 AM, the smoke detectors went off because of the heat. At the thermostat downstairs, the temp was 85 degrees with everything opened up. Tech said this morning his first available is tomorrow AM. It is supposed to be back in the low 90's today. And something sketchy is going on with the refrigerator/freezer.
How soon is Tuesday?
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Yikes!  Good luck with that.  I left a message this morning with the third plumber I've tried to contact since last Wednesday.  Still no calls back from any of them.  I noticed a little bit of water intermittently coming out of the line attached to the safety valve of the water heater.  Very little.  But it's never done that before and I'd like to get it checked out before I go on vacation.  Might be faster if I went to trade school and learned how to do plumbing repairs.   :P

Bob, you could just turn off the water feed to the water heater before you leave...

Hot here in SE NH, too.  Low to mid 90s today.  We have whole-house AC, but most places do not.  I can't sleep when it's above 70 at night :-(  (Cold doesn't bother me, and that's why we moved north.)

My kubelwagen is nearly complete, I have a couple detail parts on order.  But doing something different worked, now I'll think about more work on the layout.

Mornin' all...

I've been doing a lot of lurking over the last weeks... boardering on a month or more.

I'm having to learn how to live again without looking around every corner for kooties.

I'm starting to get regular with the cadre of crazies that I hang around with and we have started to resume operations sessions.   Ive had to do a lot of cleaning and such getting ready for them to be coming by.

Have a great day.
