Woke up this morning thankful that it rained less , yesterday we had more then double the amount of rain then usually in the whole month of July, parts of our city are flooded

But it could have been worse , just across the border in Germany there were more then 45 deaths due to severe rains ,

I love photo's, don't we all.

Stay safe, my friend. We have been having a lot of rain here, too. Thankfully I live on the highest point in our county so it has been running downhill away from our place. I had the top of a tree fall across my driveway in one of the storms - a couple hours with the chain saw and the problem was solved.

So, Doug and Craig, the building in question is a version or kit bash of one of George's kits.

R. Schramm Manufacturing. Kit number 190. I have a theory on where it ended up but I need to do some research.

Don't tell eBay but I grabbed this picture of the box off the  add that's running today on the forum.

Stay tuned I will post a few pictures from the archives that are painted the same colors but with different variations of the build.

Here are a few examples of different versions of this kit where you can see the different ways this kit has been built.  I have dozens pictures in the archives if you need them let me know.

Jan,

Stay safe as John said. We too have had our share of rain. I live on the highest point within several several miles. I've seen flooding two blocks away but we'll have to have biblical rains for it to get to me.

I'm happy the severe flooding and storms passed you by.

Every time I see one of these buildings on the F&SM I wonder if it is a kit bash from the kit or a early prototype for the kit. Only George knows. This one was a long time ago so I probably going to get "I don't remember" when I ask him. I have spotted other versions of the main building of this kit on the F&SM - go back into the F&SM thread and see if you can find them. I just checked this kit came out in 1980 before George started the F&SM.

John, the building Doug was referring to is the little orange and blue structure next to the Schramm kitbash.

You're definitely right though. That station is Schramm.

Thanks Tom and John , fortunately I don't live in the lower part of the city anymore , some good friends are going to have to buy new furniture though.
