Morning all.

Thanks for all the good wishes on my surgery.  That is scheduled for Wednesday, no time allotted yet.  I have several chores to do the next two days as I'll be on a lifting restriction for a while.  I'm cleaning and putting up Christmas trees today.

Hope to get the loco back together today.  I couldn't reprogram the lights, and I'm not changing them out as the wires are super glued to the front plate.  The wires will tear if I try to remove them.  I'll try reprogramming another time.  Needs cleaning and lubrication as well.

It's Veteran's day.  Thanks to all who served.

Good morning Jeff, and everyone arriving later.  Jeff, let me add my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery to the list.

Overcast here this morning, forecast is for a partly sunny day, sure wish the guys that do the forecast had a window...   We did get a little over three tenths of an inch of rain yesterday.  That still leaves us over three inches short of the average rainfall for the month.

I started working on scratch building a freight house for my layout yesterday.  I plan to continue working on it today.

Thank you to all veterans for your service.   I hope everyone, especially our veterans have a safe and productive day.  (I'm headed back to the pot for more coffee...)

Good Morning Folks;

Wishing you well Jeff, the wife is three months now from her knee surgery and is feeling close to normal and back to doing everything she wants so hang in there during the rehab.

Today I will be working on finishing up rules for winter challenge, hope to publish this week. Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all,

I got my walk in early this morning.  It's supposed to hit 87 today so my walks will continue to be early in the morning.  Think I'll hit the workbench this afternoon.  I have one small build to wrap up and another I got started on this past weekend.

Thanks to all the veterans for their service.  My Dad was in the Navy and served on the USS Westmoreland, an attack transport, in the Pacific during WWII.

Have a great one!

Jeff, it might help if you could steal an extra IV Bag from your office in case they run short.   :(

I helped finish the WiFi reinstallation at my neighbor's church, and then a dentist appointment this afternoon.  So not much time to do stuff in the train room.

Dave,  we don't do IVs at the office.  Our hospital system has been running short, though we're doing better than 2 weeks ago.

I haven't heard if the University Hospital is having IV supply issues.  Thanks again for the good thoughts on the upcoming surgery.

When wife went in for something done under general anesthesia, before they'd do an IV and introduce the anesthetic that way.  2 weeks ago, they set up the IV with no bag, and just pushed the anesthetic directly into the IV tube.
