Well Late Good Morning;

Coffee is still on for those that need a top off. I am pushing to get a couple of structures ready for viewing at the Sunshine Region convention next month. Currently working on a detached kitchen for the hotel. 3d printer currently making a couple of coal stoves for the interior. Hope to have a complete interior included for kitchen. Perhaps even a working window fan. I'll post a couple pictures when done.

Hope everyone well and has a great day.

I'm up for lunch after a bit of time in the train room.  On the ground floor of the machine shop, I added the ceiling joists to support the stairs.  The kit comes with a full set of (fragile) ceiling joists, but I decided those couldn't be seen, even with my clear side.  But the set to support the stairs have a structural purpose for the model.  One thing I needed to do (because one of the parts broke) was notch a pair of full length joists to hold the cross piece for the stairwell.  That worked, and I'm letting the glue cure while doing lunch.    I also dug out the Deluxe Materials laser kit glue to try that on assembling the fragile and frustrating laser cut furniture (desks, drafting tables, shelves.)  I'll report on how that works out later today, with a post on the build thread.

Just home from a 'scope at the aid station. All ok. We rode home in a bit of a T-Boomer. Foggy on the way in this morning. Going to be laidback day, no driving or playing with sharp objects. Things were running slow at the hospital, day 2 of a new computer system. Day 1 for the Doctor ;). My nurse was a lady my ex worked with there ~40 years ago.

Good afternoon all.  I've done a walk and had an echocardiogram.  The doctor is checking to see if my new heart valve is working OK.

I wasn't happy with the painting I was doing on a styrene brick building.  I had tried to paint the bricks with acrylic craft paint and it didn't look good.  Last night I took a small sponge soaked with alcohol to it and was surprised how easy it was to remove the paint.  Let's hope the next try is better.

Good evening, all. I hurried to get some nice dry black cherry firewood indoors this afternoon, only to watch the rain recede. Now the guessers say we might get some after midnight. The chance for Thursday is better...

Good evening! I stopped in to see what everyone was up to.

I spent the day under the layout doing the wiring work for some track work changes. I will be feeling it tomorrow. Not as young as I once was.
