Morning all,

Got back last night from my Vegas trip.  Happy belated birthday to Reading Bob.

I have the next ten days off.  Originally my wife was to take her yearly trip with her mother and sisters, but her mother is having some medical issues and didn't want to travel.  I took the time off to stay home with the dog.  I have a boatload of PTO I need to use before retiring, and they won't just pay it out to us, so basically I'll be working one day weeks and some weekends until I'm finished hopefully in March.

This bridge on a layout from the narrow gauge convention reminded me of John Allen's layout.

I had similar work schedules my last 6 months before retiring, ended up working a day or two every two weeks.  Used it all up.

Frost and sun here in mid Michigan this morning.  1:1 kept me busy yesterday, mowed, winterized the power washer pump and drained and put away hoses.

Good morning, Jeff, Karl and later arrivals.  On the NH seacoast, there was frost on the windshields before sunrise, but it was melting by the time my wife and stepson departed.  I got the last two pawpaws yesterday, and the Concord Grapes are all gone, so I'm doing paperwork and paying bills.  Errands later when my wife returns in the Bolt.  Then Selectmen to close out the afternoon.  Maybe some work on the layout in between; Tour de Chooch (MA and NH layout tour) is just a month away.

Great picture Jeff.
It sure does remind one of John Allens layout.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!
