Morning all,

Already in the 60s today and headed to 74 F, (23 C).

I'll probably cut up the sticks in the yard later.

Slow progress on the kits, but getting there.

Ordered the backdrops, need to draw level and a perpendicular line for hanging them.

Morning all,

If it were a contest, Jeff, I'd say my kit progress is way slower than yours. I have had some workbench time the past few days though.

Doc appointment tomorrow will give ne a chance to alert her to my hip problem. It's been bugging me for several weeks now. Not fun and a bit concerning with a trip to Europe coming up in June.

Have a great one!

Bob, hopefully it's just a touch of bursitis, and PT should fix it, or at least make it a lot more manageable.  (I have a sore hip, it's actually a tendon attached to the hip, I think.  Nightly stretching keeps it under control.  It's somehow ironic that annoyance is called "the IT Band".)

Mornin,' All!

The grey blanket is firmly in place and leaking considerably here in the northern mitten, which it plans to do for several days.  At least it's leaking liquid and not WGFA.  There are flood warnings up here and there....

Bob, good luck with the hip!  I saw the Doc in December for issues with my arthritic  "good hip," and was told I needed to have a couple of cortisone shots before they could cut anything.  Shots are 91 days apart.  Day 91 saw my pacemaker being replaced on schedule, and I'm now awaiting the appointment for the second shot, hopefully this week.  Thrill a minute around here, but at least it means that the replacement hip will arrive in good weather, and not in a blizzard....  Medical decisions in this country are not made by medical people... they're made by lawyers and accountants....

And life goes on....  Division meeting next weekend, and a commemoration of the 1775 "festivities" at Lexington and Concord as well.

Stay safe!

Good afternoon, all. Seacoast NH has been sunny, which brought the temperature up from freezing at 0700 to 55F now.  Yesterday late afternoon the bus returning our kid from a JV baseball game was struck by a wayward auto.  His mother finally brought him home about 2330, so everyone's morning started slowly except mine and the chickens'.

An email to compose, then free time till the kid's birthday dinner out.

Pete and Dave,

Thanks for the feedback on the hip. I'm hoping it's something like bursitis (my brother, 4 years older than me, has that issue). Given how many times I came down hard on my hips during my ice hockey playing youth (many decades ago) I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I'm suffering some ill effects now.  :(
