A while back I posted individual pics of some shacks I built from scrapbox odds and ends.  Here they are set on the layout.  They will be pretty well obscured by a row of shops on Hill St in front of them so here they are as they'll never appear again..

Looking good, Barry.

If you leave small gaps strategically between your row of shops and maybe leave one or two nice and low you should be able to get a nice glimpse effect which will both let the rundown row be seen and add to the depth of the scene.

Cheers, Mark.

Don't obscure them too much! They look great.

Thanks for the suggestions gentlemen. I am  constrained by space and vertical height in my small loft room and the current layout is the best I can come up with.  I want the shops crowded to emphasise the lack of building space in this mountain town but there are narrow alleys between them.  Fortunately Skid Row is visible from the side and makes quite a nice leading line into the rear of the scene.  This photo explains it better. Cheers . Barry

Thanks Jan - it's coming together at last.

The Ledbetters want to know what them places would rent for?
They're perfect for their quality of  'Fine Well-Used Goods'!

Well now Gnat, they'll need to contact E Pismo Clam esq, Attorney at Law, Cuspidor CO.  I'm sure he could be persuaded into an "arrangement" if you know what I mean..  Be nice to have some more enterprising and upstanding citizens like the Ledbetters in this part of town. ;)
