Morning, all. Late day, eh?

After today, a week of PTO. Should be some serious work in the basement.

Morning, all.

Off today.  Need to mow later, all the rain has really perked up the lawn.

If anyone has Jaime's phone number, please let him know the donuts I found here this morning are stale almost to moldy.
Grandkids coming for the weekend and Nana's birthday. Might get in the way of any hobby stuff.
Enjoy the long weekend.

Morning all,

Already worked up this morning with work related stuff.  I love how management seems to think there's always an easy solution to complex processes that they don't really understand.  >:(  I need a long weekend.  Actually what I need is make every week a week full of Saturday's.   ;)

Have a great one!

Good morning! I'm checking in from the Northern Hqtrs. of the S&S RR where the internet is very slow.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning,

What a pleasure to sit on the back patio sipping coffee watching the grass grow, with being scorched to death in blistering heat.
Speaking of blistering heat that town in British Columbia that recorded the 120F heat literally burnt to the ground, really the town caught on fire! You cannot make this up!

Morning everyone

Another rainy day here in South Jersey!

Maybe just maybe the little lady won't have any to-do's today and I can work on the roof!
It's just a thought! ;)

Everyone have a great day!! :)

Morning all.

It's official. The flights are booked. I'll be visiting the F&SM in September!
Can't wait. I'll have to make sure to charge my camera batteries and clear the memory cards :)

Happy holidays for the weekend. It's gonna be a busy one for us.

I think everyone who has worked in IT/software/complex systems has experienced this:

Tommy, BESTTrains has done a kit of that little crossing shack.  I've built them (although I made a mistake in mine, forgot to add a piece.  They still look OK, though.)  (The shacks on either side...  The open station is also a BEST kit.  The handcar house is scratchbuilt/freelance, but somewhat similar to a MEC design.)

Monday it got up to 97 here.  Today we'll do well if we reach 60.  Steady rain, which we really need!

Good evening, all.  I spent most of today working on a 1:1 wood chipper.  We were inside a shed, but cool and damp is much better for this kind of effort than hot/dry.
