Morning all,

Another Monday at work.  It's supposed to be first day back in the office but I'm working from home today.  I may go in one day this week.  I can split my time between home and the office.  I don't see any big benefit from being in my cube to do what I do vs. doing it from home.

Wasted weekend.  I wore myself out on Saturday with household chores and then didn't do squat on Sunday.   :(

Have a great one!

I'll be running errands most of the day and won't get any layout work done.

Have a great day ya'll.

Good Morning Folks;

Today finds us in NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. We rented a house here for a couple of weeks. Yesterday I met a gentleman many in this group most likely know, Mr. Dwight Smith. I had stopped to help a couple that were getting a gentleman from his wheelchair into an SUV. My wife struck up a conversation and we learned a little of Mr. Smith. I mentioned meeting him to a couple of modelers I know and they both said they knew him well. He was a life long NMRA modeler and attained MMR status in that organization. Moreover he was the co-founder of the Conway Scenic Railroad operating out of Conway NH. It was neat to meet him.

Today we will do more exploring. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning. Looks like it could start raining at any minute here, very dark. I'm working on the layout, today.  I hope everyone has a great day.  From the F&SM.

Good morning, all.  It rained on the NH seacoast all night, but seems to be tapering off now.

Jim, Dwight is well known among B&M fans as a photographer and historian.  He saw combat aboard the battleship South Dakota, graduated from Dartmouth and worked for the B&M in the Traffic Dept. It's sad to hear he's using a wheelchair now, but I'm glad he's still getting out at 96.

;D  ;D  ;D

I'll definitely give that try Doug.  The closer I get to retirement the more I should be able to do.   ;)

Greetings.

Not much going on here. I paid a short visit to the LHS this past Saturday morning. They had nothing new I couldn't live without. It's a shame. I had cash burning a hole in my pocket. Oh well, eBay it is I guess  ;D

One of my college classmates runs marathons and half marathons.  Another is doing Ironman competitions (and is quite highly rated/successful at it.)  My approach is to use their endeavors plus my endeavors to keep my class closer to the national average :-) :-)
