Morning all.

TGIM!  Why Monday?  Because it's caucus day here in Iowa.  The extremely annoying political ads/texts will end for awhile.

Very cold taking out the trash this morning.  Fourteen below with a wind chill of thirty one below.  We won't break zero again today.  I will venture out later to clear part of the sidewalk that got drifted in by the wind.

Maybe some layout work later, I also started a structure build I need to begin posting on.

+22 at 9:00AM here, that's seasonal, but colder than what we've had for most of the winter so far.  Nice and sunny, though.

Well, those annoying political ads will migrate northeast, and we in NH will be flooded with them for the next week or so.  I've been counting mailers since we started getting them.  I've never understood why politicians send so much crap with so little content, as if I'd make a decision based on 4 bullet points and a photo....  (I won't announce my tallies, but I will note that the number and focus of the mailers has changed significantly about 2 weeks ago, as the contest heats up.)  I wouldn't object as much if there was some good model RR use for those dumb fliers.  But at least it keeps the post office in business.

Today I'll work on coloring the brickyard office building, including deciding if I'll keep the windows and doors the white primer, or paint them some other color.

add:  Brick coloring is done, and I'm experimenting with weathered (dipped in HunterLine stain) vs unweathered white windows:

Oh we will get non stop political ads here in Florida for the rest of year. What a waste of money. Anyhow our daughter's family is coming n for a late Christmas today, looking forward to seeing them. Nothing else on docket till tonight when the Bucs try to stay in playoffs. Philly looks to be better team but we will see. Hope everyone has great day.

Good morning.

Single digit start to the day.  That seems almost warm when compared to the weather Dr. Jeff is dealing with.

Jim, don't forget that the lowly Giants beat Philly only a week ago.  I would guess the Bucs defense to have a game plan similar to the G-men's that slowed down the Philly offense.  Now if Baker is able to play and generate some offense...

I hope everyone is able to stay warm and safe today.  Of course, finding some time to model wouldn't hurt.

Afternoon All,

Today I went to the dentist for the tooth pain (I thought). It turns out the tooth is fine but the problem is gum disease. Taking antibiotics, a medicated mouth wash and lots of Orajel. My next appointment is a week Wednesday to figure out a treatment plan. I see a lot of mouth pain in my future. :(

Dave I like the coloring you have on the building.

I hope everyone has a good night.
