Morning all.

I have an appointment for my yearly physical with my PCP this morning.  I'm sure will discuss all the fun specialists I've seen and my planned surgery since our last visit six months ago.

The loco actually works.  I think there was an issue with the tender power pickup.  Testing showed the Mars light was in the wrong spot (the emergency red light on the front of the loco), so I'll try to reprogram this or swap the two lights.  Then put the thing back together and move on to the next project.

Jeff, congrats on finding and fixing the loco power.  I'm sure you and your PCP will have fun gossiping about other doctors :-)

Supposedly the gas company is coming today to move, or at least figure out how to move the gas line for the new stove.  Right now it sticks out about 1 1/4" because the gas feed comes up on the wrong side of the stove.  I have a couple ideas how they could do it easily, but I'm not the expert.  The problem, of course, is I don't know when they're coming, so I can't plan anything particularly intensive in the Train Room.

update:  The gas guy showed up late morning, they had some unexpected emergency calls.  He looked at the range and the basement and agreed there's an easy way to do this.  But they now have to schedule the workers to come out and actually make it happen...

Good morning.

Foggy and 40F to start the day.  Forecast is for a high in the 50's tempered by a brisk wind with potential gusts nearing 30MPH.  I have some outside stuff I'd like to wrap up.  How much I get done will depend on how windy it actually is as the day wears on.

I hope everyone has a safe and productive day!

Morning,

Today has been a bit of a slow day at home. Just a lot of thinking about the new building build.

Afternoon all,

Just finished trimming some bushes outside. Hot and humid out there today.

No workbench time today.

Have a great one.

Bob,

Glad to see you found your way back!  I always enjoyed your build threads in the past, hope to see more of them in the future.
