Good morning.

The door is open and the coffee is ready, though I may need to make another pot because I've been hitting it pretty hard.

Heavy fog here this morning, and we got a half inch of rain yesterday, definitely needed since we are almost in drought conditions.  We are looking at a couple days of highs in the forties before we drop back to lows in the teens later this week.  Whew, I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind!

Still plugging along on the U&D freight house.  I decided I did not like the foundation and loading dock I built originally, so started on a new one yesterday.  I built the first one using a foam base and it warped when I glued the wood decking to it.  I feel much better about my approach this time using a piece of 1/2" plywood for the foundation under the building.

I hope everyone has a safe and rewarding day!

Morning all.

Cooler here today, we will break freezing, but the last few days in the 50s were nice.

Slow progress on the build, we'll see what happens today.

We got a dusting of snow last night, but it'll melt.  Heavy rain starting tonight and continuing all day tomorrow.  So I'll go shopping today.  We have a lunch to attend tomorrow, wife won't be happy about walking to the location in the rain...

More work on Lamson, I put a second coat of white on the windows and doors, and will look at that today to decide if a 3rd coat is needed.  Even my artist Titanium White wasn't covering very well over the red primer.

Afternoon all,

Where has the day gone?  Last night I braced the walls for one of the two kits I'm building and primed the detail parts for both.

Have a great one!
