Good Morning Everyone;

Yep, coffee is on and diet sodas for those who prefer. Clubhouse doors now open. We have had some great weather for last few days and looks like another great one out there. I am working around the house a little and then out to the garage for some playtime.

Todays photo is well I am not sure but looked different.

Hope everyone has a great day.IMG_3187.JPG

Good morning everyone.

Cayucos weather: 46 now and 58 later with some clouds.

Jim, thanks for the second cup and an interesting picture.

After having a great day yesterday at Morro Bay seeing lots of wildlife todays plan is to head inland and hit the gym.

A short video from yesterday and some very noisy sea lions: https://youtube.com/shorts/Mg9T8FGH7Qk

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning guys. Jim I'll gladly take a second cup of coffee. It's 40 with a high of 48 in New York.
Hopefully we can get rid of some snow and ice the next few days. Really looking forward to Spring!!!

Have a good day.

That is sugar cane in the train care, Jim.  Floridian ought to know... ;)

My Deep South Georgia raised mother used to tell of squeezing cane to make liquid that was boiled own into syrup much like we Yankees do Maple Syrup in March.  They used a horse or mule powered mechanical roller...

We used to order Cane Syrup from Adcocks' Pecans in Tifton, GA for her. sorghum was also processed the same way.

Yeah, "sugar cane" is what I'm thinking, too.  I remember seeing narrow gauge sugar cane trains in Egypt on our visit there.

I dropped the truck off at a local repair shop (state inspection, 60k service, general check-up), they're close enough I walk home.  Now it's not quite above freezing, but blue skies with fast-moving clouds.

Back to the Ambroid kit build.  I have 2 dimensions to work on now.  The first is to glue the 4 walls together, and the second is to add the end platforms and couplers to the car body.  Those are related, I need to make sure the ends fit snugly against the end platforms (might require sanding on one part or another.)

Morning all,

Got my walk in first thing, cleaned up, then loaded the car up with a bunch of dead/obsolete electronics (2 televisions, 2 PCs, 1 printer, 1 tablet, 1 DVD player, and an external hard drive) which I then dropped off at the transfer station. I declare the afternoon mine to do with as I please.  :)

Have a great one!

Good afternoon, all.  It's overcast enough over the lower Merrimack Valley that I couldn't tell exactly where the sun is just now.  I've had school, town and tax bureaucracy to deal with. Then collecting eggs, now a little while updating my notes on the Structures AP. It's 45F but without much sun the crunchy leftovers from last weeks snow/warm/rain/bitter cold sequence aren't melting much.

Good afternoon folks,

In Cheyenne Wyoming it is 32 degrees with a 30 mph sustained wind. Plenty of blue sky but I would call it frigid with the wind chill. Snow was in the forecast last night but it didn't happen so at least there is that. I have a 44 mile drive to get home in Colorado so no snow is good.

Afternoon all,

Definitely sugar cane in the hoppers.

Busy day for me but no modeling.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a good bench day.
