Philip thanks for the video.

Thanks, Philip.

I did a figure painting workshop in Melbourne with Ian.  I'm keen to get a bit more practice in and this video fills in all the holes from the workshop.  Ours was Ian's first workshop so he will have refined things a bit since then.

Cheers, Mark.

Thanks Philip, this will come in handy if I ever want to paint some figures.

I'm not sure how well that approach would work in HO scale.  This works in part by emphasizing shadow areas that show up well in our reduced layout lighting.

Hi David.

Pretty convincing, Really.  Ian did a large commission in HO scale and posted photos on Facebook.  It was largely why I was keen to do his figure painting workshop.

Cheers, Mark.

They are hopefully shooting part 2 and 3.

They attempted to do a tutorial on New Tracks Modeling but it didn't turn out clear.

Stay tuned and I'll link them when they drop.

I think Brian Nolan painted a lot of HO scale figures. I'm not sure if it was archived anywhere? Nothing beats a high definition video.
