With my recent builds of the Scalescenes downloadable card kits, one thing that is overlooked are the interiors. For the kits come with a complete interior. When I display these structures on my new exhibition layout "Midsomer Puddle" I fully intend to take advantage of this and light them with small LED's.

Here is the latest build a typical British Country Pub. The exterior is very interesting to build and I have enhanced the kit by adding raised exterior beams using scale wood, better 3D roofing by Redutex and added some Northeastern fishscale tiles to the front walls.

Here are shots of the interior build which includes printed walls, a bar and eventually chairs and tables....

Here are pictures of the bar. It is very well detailed with the lunch menu on the walls. It fits between the walls nicely.

Ah , this is where I would like to get a pint, the interior looks great Mike.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Thanks Jan, it is just another of my £3.99 kits... The pub actually looks like the one I frequent with my brother on a Wednesday night!

Next up the ceiling and floor of the upper rooms is added to the structure and the interior upper walls are prepared...

Continuing.... the hole in the floor is for the chimney to pass through the building proto-typically.

The chimney is made of card with the printed elements wrapped around it. Note the fireplace at the bottom. The completed part passes through the hole in the floor in readiness for the next stage - the roofs.

Wow looks great Mike, I am making one of Clever Models card stock kits at the moment and seeing your build of the interiors has really got my mind thinking.

Thanks for sharing.

Shane.

Thanks Shane, Yes I think the interior really sets the model apart.
