Karl,
Really nice build on this FOS Scale kit ! Is the reddish roof part of that kit or did you make or purchase another product to do it ?
Also since your scratch built Farm building thread from May 2014 is almost 1 year old on this Forum , and I just found it today, after seeing your posted photo of it, I remember that 2 part structure article in the December 1972 - January 1973 issues of RMC . I always liked the work of Rob Corriston and I had the honor to talk to him a very long time ago. Rob mentioned , way back when , that many of his structure articles that were submitted to and paid for by RMC never made it to print. You did a great job on that scratch built farmhouse and I am glad I found your photo of it tonight. I like the cast foundation you added to it also. You did him proud !

Hi Tom Boyd:

Glad you liked the red roof. No it is part of the kit.  I just painted mine with Krylon Colormaster Red Oxide Primer from K-mart. I think $2.00 for a big can. I don't like black roofs. The hide detail.

Glad you enjoyed the farmhouse. Built it on my desk at the post office while working the window. The customers loved my work. I gave it to a friend for his layout. All my buildings go to friends.
